Long before Acqua Di Gio existed, Cool Water Cologne invented the aquatic men's fragrance category almost singlehandedly in 1988. Sea water, lavender, mint, green notes, rosemary, calone and coriander open this Eau de Toilette icy and marine, calone being the molecule that would define an entire genre after this release. Sandalwood, neroli, geranium and jasmine fill the heart, floral and aromatic against all that opening freshness. Musk, oakmoss, cedar, tobacco and ambergris close it out, a warmer, more grounded base than the icy top suggests is coming.
