Michael Malul takes the Ocean Noir name in a considerably brighter direction with this concentration than its Dive counterpart, staying closer to what the branding actually promises. Seaweed, geranium and yarrow carry the center, green and slightly marine, keeping that watery theme running rather than pulling toward spice or wood. Tonka bean, amberwood and musk close the composition, warm and smooth, grounding the fresh top with just enough depth to hold on skin. Aquatic aromatic is the fitting classification, easygoing enough for daytime wear across nearly any season. Ocean Noir Eau de Parfum suits casual outings, warm-weather errands and gym sessions about equally well. Spring and summer bring out its aquatic character most clearly, though the tonka and musk close keeps it wearable into cooler months too. Compared to Dive, this version commits fully to the ocean concept its name promises, without the spiced detour its sibling takes instead.
