Sandalwood will hold the heart of Christian Dior Sauvage Cologne entirely alone, creamy, dry and utterly assured, though bergamot, mandarin orange and elemi lead the top first in this Parfum concentration, bright and resinous, the elemi adding a peppery, almost citrus pine quality. Sandalwood then takes the middle by itself, creamy and dry, a complete departure from the lighter versions of this fragrance.
